Master in Business Economics – TIME

A Bachelor degree with good performance in any discipline from a Greek, Cypriot or foreign University or Polytechnic is a minimum requirement for admission to TIME MBE program. The Bachelor degree is not required to be in economics. Positions are routinely offered to candidates with degrees in mathematics, statistics, business, and other fields.

Additionally, candidates are judged on the basis of the following:

• Previous university education
• Letters of recommendation
• Personal interview (if judged necessary)

The TIME MBE program will also consider additional relevant information submitted by candidates, such as research activity, work experience, conference attendance, etc. No rules of transfer / recognition of prior education are applied on the Program.

English language requirement Candidates for graduate studies whose first language is not English are required το provide proof of proficiency in English

TIME MBE is one of the very few programs globally offering students a comprehensive set of skills specifically related to the managerial, entrepreneurial and economic aspects of new technologies, with emphasis on small and medium sized firms.

Designed to provide students with the knowledge and the entrepreneurial skills needed to successfully manage innovative ideas in this ever-changing environment by offering an integrated curriculum blending theoretical concepts with practical applications.

Aim and Objectives
Bridging the gap between finance, innovation management and entrepreneurship, focusing on business strategy, financing innovation, access to capital markets and intellectual property.

Intended Learning Outcomes
TIME seeks to develop in each graduate coming from different backgrounds the capacity to:

• adapt and to understand the changing business arena
• creatively use, shape, and generate value from technological opportunities
• recognize and confront new opportunities in the business environment
• evaluate and respond to emerging threats
• interact with and lead diverse groups of people
• analyze and evaluate business operations and processes
• synthesize and apply cross-functional approaches to organizational issues.

TIME MBE is a full-time 15th month program with 105 ECTS needed for a successful completion. All courses are required.

• The program consists of three different components:
• The Academic Modules (September – May, 60 ECTS)
• The Summer Practicum (May – July, 15 ECTS) A Supervised Summer Internship
• The Master Thesis (May – December, 30 ECTS)
